The New Year Assembly was conducted in the Stilt Area with great enthusiasm and positivity. It began with a prayer, followed by a Thought for the Day encouraging meaningful choices and strong values.
Annika Gupta
We are delighted to share that our student Annika Gupta participated in the 68th National Shooting Competition held at the M.P. State Shooting Academy, Bhopal, and delivered an outstanding performance by scoring 612.2 points
With this remarkable score, Annika has successfully qualified in all categories and is now eligible to participate in the Selection Trials for the Indian Team in the Youth, Junior, and Senior categories.
Students of Grade 11 & Grade 12 from Sadhu Vaswani International School visited the Wonderla Amusement Park on December 23rd, 2025. The purpose of the trip was to give students some time to relax, gain more insight into this area, and provide an opportunity for students to spend time with one another. Students left the School Campus at 9 am under the supervision of teachers of Grade 11 & Grade 12 who accompanied the students on the trip to ensure a good experience for all.
Our Class XII students had an enriching industrial visit to Marino Products Pvt. Ltd., guided by their mentor Ms. K. Shriyah Chary. The students explored key business concepts such as EOQ, Lead Time, ABC Analysis, Pareto Principle, and Inventory Management in a real-world FMCG setting, witnessing the manufacturing process of biscuits and cookies firsthand.
On 3rd January 2026, our students enjoyed a delightful educational trip to The Hidden Castle, Mathpally (Medak district, Telangana). The journey itself was filled with fun, laughter, and bonding through games like Antakshari and Dumb Charades.
The grand castle welcomed our students with exciting entry challenges that promoted teamwork and unity, followed by refreshing drinks, photo moments, and an entertaining magic show that left everyone spellbound.
Grade 6 students of SVIS enjoyed an enriching field trip to One Day Kisan, Bhuvanagiri, the visit offered a unique opportunity to experience a farmer’s journey firsthand.
From paddy transplanting and pottery making to bullock cart rides, irrigation models, and interacting with animals and birds, students enthusiastically participated in hands-on activities
Nishka Joshi – Young Innovators Program at CCMB
We are proud of our student Nishka Joshi, who participated in the Young Innovators Program at CCMB (Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology). The program gave her hands-on exposure to real laboratory work, including PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA cloning, and the use of advanced scientific equipment. Watching bacteria with the mCherry gene glow red was a truly unforgettable experience.
Kite Making Competition – Grades III to V
Sadhu Vaswani International School organized a Kite Making Competition on 7th January 2026 for students of Grades III to V to celebrate Makar Sankranti. The students participated with great enthusiasm, creating colorful and creative kites using safe materials. Many also conveyed meaningful messages such as “Save Birds” and “Happy Makar Sankranti.”
The school celebrated the Merit and Proficiency Award Ceremony with great pride and enthusiasm, honouring the outstanding achievements of our Grade 10 and Grade 12 achievers. The ceremony was a heartfelt recognition of students who have excelled academically through dedication, perseverance, and hard work.

Value education department organised a special assembly on occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birthday whiich is celebrated worldwide as National Youth day. A group discussion was done by students highlighting the challenges faced by today’s youth.

Sadhu Vaswani International School congratulates Ambur Lavana Kumar on receiving a Certificate of Appreciation from Spandana Nrutya Keli – School of Dance for his graceful participation in “Sri Krishna Parijatha Nruthyakala Sourabam”.
Sadhu Vaswani International School, Kompally, Hyderabad, hosted a spectacular farewell ceremony for the Class of 2025 on [Date]. The event was themed “Red Carpet” and was a grand celebration of the students’ achievements and memories.
The occasion began with a Childhood Memories Video that took everyone down memory lane, followed by an inspiring speech by the Grade XII class teachers.
Interschool Speed Skating Competition – 2026
Sadhu Vaswani International School proudly emerged as the 1st Place Overall Champions at the 1st Amberpet Mandal Speed Skating Championship 2026, held on 4th January 2026 at the International Roller-Skating Bank Track, Indira Park, Hyderabad.
With 73 participants and an impressive 50 medals (15 Gold, 21 Silver, 14 Bronze), our young skaters showcased exceptional speed, skill, and sportsmanship across all age groups.
Mirabai House conducted a vibrant Sankranti Special Assembly, beginning with a soulful prayer and a meaningful thought for the day. Students beautifully highlighted the significance of the festival through an engaging speech, a melodious song, and a graceful dance performance, filling the assembly with joy and cultural spirit.
As part of our Sankranthi celebrations, students of Grades 6 – 12 showcased their creativity and cultural spirit in the “Kalidieoscope on Floor” Rangoli Competition. With vibrant colors, traditional motifs, and imaginative patterns, the young artists transformed the floor into a beautiful display of festive joy and artistic expression.
Educational Field Trip to One Day Kisan – Bhongir
Our Grade 7 students enjoyed an enriching and hands-on learning experience during their educational field trip to One Day Kisan, Bhongir. Three teams from our school have made it to the Top 500 of the CBSE Think Startup Youth Idea Competition 2025–26.
Out of 1.5 lakh applications, our teams stood out remarkably, with one team securing a place in the Top 125.

The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by a motivating thought for the day and an inspiring speech highlighting courage and patriotism. A brief presentation traced the life and contributions of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, enriching students’ understanding. This was followed by an impactful roleplay depicting Subhas Chandra Bose, which captivated the audience.125.
The Puppet Story Slam Competition held on 23rd January 2026 was a delightful showcase of creativity, imagination, and confidence with their expressive voices, engaging stories, and skillful use of puppets, bringing characters to life on stage by our young storytellers from Grades I and II. We heartily congratulate the winners for their outstanding performances and commend their originality, presentation, and confident storytelling.

The event, led by Mahatma Gandhi House, was a vibrant showcase of patriotism and cultural heritage.
