It brings us immense pleasure to announce that the following students have cleared the round 2 of the 7th edition of All India Inter-School Arithmetic Genius Contest 2022 conducted by SIP Academy India.

The students of Grade XII Entrepreneurship along with their teacher K. Shriyah Chary were taken on a field trip to Remedy Health Products Pvt. Ltd. on 7.01.2023. This visit enabled students to interact with what they are learning. The experience goes beyond reading a concept in a textbook as students were able to participate in it physically.
 
KHEL JALSA
Grades VII & VIII

Sport is a way of celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship. Beyond the obvious health and activity benefits, sports can teach us much about life. Relay races teach us about teamwork and team spirit while individual races give a sense of healthy competitiveness. It teaches us to work together to achieve a common goal. It’s also teaches about trust and responsibility and how to deal with success and failures.

A mini sports day called “Khel Jalsa” was organised for the preprimary children. As the saying goes “All study and no play makes Jack a dull boy” and as we did not want our children to be dull we encouraged them to participate in various sports activities like: sprint and relay races. We aimed to raise awareness about the values of sports: discipline, sportsman spirit and team work while emphasizing on the importance of being fit and healthy. Our children had a wonderful day out on the field and others enthusiastically cheered for them.
Khel Jalsa- Sports Meet of Grades1-3 , of SADHU VASWANI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL was held on 11th January 2023, with great gusto and zeal.
The event started with a motivational speech by The Chairman, Dr.Harish Mirchandani, who emphasised that an act of Compassion is equal to Winning, any race.
Kaleidoscope on Floor – Rangoli Making Competition
Grades 7 & 8

Rangoli making has been an essential part of Sankranthi celebrations in our country.
The girls of Grades 7-8 had pre-planned their patterns and had come prepared with all the materials required for making the Rangolis. They enthralled the judges with their originality of ideas, creativity and clarity. The colour combinations, aptness of a festival related message and overall visual appeal added a festive fervour to the competition.

A kite making competition was organized for the students of Grades 4-6, on 11-01-23. The students were at their creative best as they designed beautiful and colourful kites as a part of Sankranti celebrations.
They showed their skills and uncovered their personal aptitude by preparing wonderful, colourful and mind blowing creative kites which carried different messages of compassion and festivities.

Kite Flying Competition
Grades 7 & 8

Kite Flying competition was conducted in the school premises for the students of Grades 7 & 8 as part of Makar Sankranthi celebration. It is one of the most auspicious days for Hindus and is celebrated with myriad cultural forms, with great devotion, fervour and gaiety.

It gives us immense pride and pleasure to announce that our students participated in the 18th National Figure & Speed Ice Skating Championship, 2023, organized by the Ice Skating Association of India (Affiliated to Indian Olympic Association). It was held from 5th-8th January at ISkate, Gurgaon, Delhi NCR. All the students cleared various levels and reached the semi-finals.
S. Mayank Shree of Grade 8C made his parents and Alma Mater proud by winning the Silver medal in Junior Group C.
We congratulate the students and their proud parents.
Bommala Koulvu Competition

There are several ways to preserve and pass on one’s cultural identity and heritage to our younger generations that are accepted gleefully
‘Bommala Koluvu’ is one such example. An Inter House Bommala Koluvu competition was held at for the students of Grades IV-VI at Sadhu Vaswani International School on the occasion of Makar Sankranthi.

Sports do not build character. They reveal it.

The Khel Jalsa event for students of Grades IV-VI was held with great enthusiasm. The four houses of the school cheered for their respective members the students of the four different houses competed against each other in sports events like relay races, Grade-4( 50m.Sprint and Temple Run Race), Grade-5 ( 50m.Sprint and Racket and Ball Race) and Grade-6 ( 50m.Sprint and Relay Race) .

NATIONAL YOUTH DAY, JANUARY 12th.

“Always listen to your soul”, as spoken by the great patriotic saint Swami Vivekananda is something of utmost importance to not only the youth, but also for all human beings. As emphasised by many great leaders, the youth is the future of the country. The theme for this year is” VIKSIT YUVA VIKSIT BHARAT” Which means DEVELOP YOUTH- DEVELOP INDIA. The theme clearly emphasises the importance of building a progressive youth population that will eventually hold the baton of success for India in the future.

Khel Jalsa Inter House tournaments for Grades 9-12


They sweated it out on the fields in great spirits of sportsmanship and camaraderie. It was time to award the winners and appreciate them on the stands.
Our beloved Principal in the august presence of all the incharges awarded all the winners and runners up for the different tournaments. It was indeed a moment of immense pleasure and pride to see the teams share the stage for the prizes.

Makar Sankranti was celebrated in Sadhu Vaswani International School, Hyderabad on 12 January 2023.

The students of Rabindranath Tagore House presented a Special Assembly on the occasion.
The students began the programme with a prayer followed by a delightful rendition of Telugu songs and a spectacular dance performance on the theme of Sankranti.
Significance of Sankranti was also articulated followed by presentation of Sankranti celebration of different states.

A vibe of enormous zeal and excitement encompasses the campus of SVIS each time our esteemed Rector Ms. Manju Nichani visits us. It is her very presence that makes us feel so enthusiastic and happy. Welcomed honorably by our Junior Student Council, and staff, Ms. Manju Nichani’s began her day with a prayer and blessings of our beloved Gurus. It was a pleasure to have Ms. Manju Nichani as our Chief Guest for the Merit and Proficiency Awards Ceremony, a prestigious occasion for all students who showcase outstanding performance in various fields.

3rd LITTLE CHAMPS ROLLER SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP held on 8th January 2023 at Indira park international Roller skating bank track, Hyderabad.

The students of Mira Bai House put up a marvellous celebration- beginning with Flag hoisting and inspiring speeches by our honourable Chairman Sir and Principal ma’am, followed by pulsating dances, mesmerising music, incredible monologues – a magnificent event which was most definitely carved into the memories of all Svians. The show was a stupendous success and a great way to honour our revered country.
This world of ours is piled high with farewells and goodbyes of so many different kinds, like the evening sky renewing itself again and again from one instant to the next.”


With sorrowful hearts, Sadhu Vaswani International School organized a FARE THEE WELL based on the theme ‘Sky is the Limit’, for the Grade 12 students who are now prepared to advance to the next significant milestone in life.
