Vanmahostav Day

Vanmahostav has become one of the most widely celebrated environmental events across the globe.The students of Grade 7 presented a role play to highlight the importance of trees in our lives. Children promised that they will plant more trees.

Quiz Competition – Quizzical Suspects.
If you’re a true warrior, competition doesn’t scare you. It rather makes you better. With this thought in their minds, the quizzing wizards of Grades 9-12 of SVIS set down for a battle of the brains in the Inter House Quiz Competition – Quizzical Suspects.

 

The four important doctors in our life are Dr. Diet, Dr. Quiet, Dr. Sunshine and Dr. Laughter. Presence of these doctors will make illness absent from our life.
To show the importance of doctors in our life and to appreciate their presence, the Value Education department of SVIS organized a special assembly on Doctor’s day.

 

Guru Poorima
On 3 July 2023, Sadhu Vaswani International School, Hyderabad celebrated Guru Poorima in the school premises to honour and pay respect to all the spiritual Gurus and the teachers of the school and of life.The day began with wishes to all the teachers of the school on the occasion of Guru Poornima by the Principal: Ms. G. Arpitha. 
Van Mahotsav week celebration
On the occasion of Van Mahotsav week celebration, the students of Grades 4,5 and 6 conveyed a message about not cutting trees and instead plant more of them to save the environment. This message was conveyed in the form of skit and a song.
Vanamahotsav – Preprimary
Vanamahotsav is a festival dedicated to planting trees 🌳. The aim was to bring awareness about millets and to encourage children to plant more trees 🌳. Millet sowing activity was conducted for preprimary.  🌎
Psychology Students field trip
Students of psychology grade 12 went for a field trip to Sweekar Upkaar in Secunderabad to observe cases of mentally challenged children . It was an amazing and informative experience to see the children who are underprivileged.. students learned a lot about the challenges the special children have to undergo.
Safe touch & unsafe touch
Wisdom is giving the children their wings, along with the rudder of awareness to keep them safe from prying hands.”
We all want to ensure the safety and well-being of our children. One essential aspect of their protection is educating them about safe and unsafe touch.
SPIN A YARN- WOOL YARN ACTIVITY
Wool on paper brings out an art and craft creativity with the colorful fun of yarn. The students of grades 1, 2 and 3 created unique and vibrant pictures using yarn.
Vanmahotsav
an Mahotsav means “the festival of trees”. This festival teaches the awareness of trees among people and represents the need for planting and nursing trees as trees are one of the best means to limit global warming and diminish pollution.
The students of Grades 1-10 celebrated Van Mahotsav in the school premises under the able guidance of the Science department.
Dada J P Vaswani
13th July 2023, Sadhu Vaswani International School Hyderabad, with a heavy heart and as grateful souls paid tribute to our beloved Guru Dada J P Vaswani on his Remembrance Day.
The school paid Shradhanjali with lighting of lamp, prayers and soulful bhajans.
Bonalu
Bonalu special assembly was celebrated in school by Rabindranath Tagore House students. It was an amazing assembly filled with Bonalu songs and mesmerizing dances of Telangana culture. The students thoroughly enjoyed the performances. Bonalu is a Telangana festival celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the state.
French National Day
The French National day- le 14 juillet or Bastille day was celebrated by the students of the French department with information about the importance of the day and an interactive and informative quiz based on France. The students then enthralled the audience with an excellent instrumental rendition of the French song Sur la route.
Rhyme and Rhythm
“Poetry is an emotion
when expressed in words.”
Today the tiny tots of pre-primary participated in Rhyme and Rhythm Activity.
As the genre for this year was 4 C’s- Compassion, Culture, Courage and Character and the little one’s expressed the values of all the C’s through their rhymes.
Fruit and Vegetable Salad
With an aim to inculcate healthy eating habits in children, a salad making activity was conducted for the students of PP II. As part of this activity, students were asked to bring 1 fruit/vegetable each to class. The class teachers made a colorful fruit and vegetable salad respectively and served them to the students. They also explained the benefits of healthy eating habits.
Grade 5 – Subject Integration
Subject Integeration is the practise of weaving content from one subject area to another.
The goal of subject Integration is to strengthen students learning.

Grade 7 – Subject Integration
We don’t understand anything until we learn it in more than one way.
The Subject Integration Project was conducted on Monday, the 24th July 2023.
Learning should not be a process of memorisation and
recall, it should be a process of exploration and discovery.
To integrate subjects means to remove barriers between areas of studies and making connections among subjects.

24th July,2023- Sadhu Vaswani International School conducted an Informal Assessment -Subject Integration, for Grade IX students.
In an effort to foster holistic learning and promote a deeper understanding of various subjects, Grade X students were divided into groups within each section to embark on an integrated learning project.

Visit to JNTU
The students of Grade VI-XI, along with their mentor Ms. K. Shriyah Chary visited JNTU on 24th July 2023. The student’s visit was a part of Under18 elections, an initiative of Whatsmygoal team.
