Gandhi Jayanti – Special assembly
We commemorated the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with a special assembly celebrating his timeless values of truth, peace and kindness.
The assembly began with a Thought for the Day, followed by a brief insight on the significance of Gandhi Jayanti and Gandhiji’s principles of truth, non-violence and simplicity.
The highlight was an engaging podcast on Mahatma Gandhi, which helped students connect with his life and ideals in a contemporary way.
Principal Ma’am applauded the performance of the students and narrated a few inspiring incidents from the life of Mahatma Gandhi, motivating students to follow his path.

Green Colour Day
Our little learners of Playgroup and Nursery celebrated Green Colour Day with great joy and enthusiasm!
Dressed in lovely shades of green, the children explored the beauty of nature through fun and creative activities.
Playgroup created a colourful McDowell Farm with big cut-outs and a delightful photo frame, making the celebration extra special.
Nursery enjoyed a creative capsicum vegetable printing activity, creating beautiful patterns while developing their creativity and fine-motor skills.
It was a cheerful day filled with learning, creativity and lots of green fun!

Our PPII little scientists explored the exciting world of science through a colourful baking soda and vinegar experiment! They observed the fascinating fizz, bubbles, and colourful eruptions with great curiosity and enthusiasm.
Learning Outcomes: Enhanced observation, curiosity, fine-motor skills, and understanding of simple cause-and-effect.
Learning through exploration makes science fun!

Telugu Language Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at SVIS Hyderabad, celebrating the beauty of our language and the richness of Telangana’s cultural heritage.
From soulful Telugu Padyam and energetic dances to vibrant Janapada Kalalu like Tupaki Ramudu, Burrakatha, Sodi and Gollasuddulu, our students brought tradition to life with wonderful spirit and confidence!
The celebration was a beautiful tribute to Sri Gidugu Ramamurthy and a proud reminder to cherish our language and heritage.

My Neighbour Stars – Community Helpers Role Play Activity
Our little stars of Pre Primary enthusiastically participated in the “My Neighbour Stars – Community Helpers Role Play Activity.”
Dressed as different community helpers, our young learners confidently portrayed the important roles of doctors, teachers, police officers, firefighters, and many others. Through this engaging activity, children learned about the valuable services provided by community helpers and developed respect and appreciation for their contributions to society.

The activity encouraged creativity, enhanced fine motor skills, improved hand-eye coordination, and developed patience and concentration. It also helped children explore colours, shapes, and textures while expressing their artistic imagination.

Mirabai House celebrated Dussehra with a vibrant special assembly presented by students of Grades III–V, highlighting the triumph of good over evil.
The programme featured a devotional Ramayana song, a captivating Ramayana dance drama, the powerful Mahishasura Mardini performance, a colourful Bathukamma presentation, and an energetic Dandiya dance.
Dr. Sir inspired the students with valuable lessons from Lord Rama’s life, emphasising honesty, courage, respect, compassion, and righteousness.
The celebration beautifully blended devotion, culture, and values, reminding everyone that goodness and righteousness always triumph over evil!
